Introducing Delanie Deeter, class of 2018 senior from Lewis Cass. Delanie was a joy to work with. We smiled, laughed and I tried to crack jokes but I am not very good at those. Mom and her boyfriend Josh tagged along for her session. It's always fun for parents, friends or boyfriend/girlfriends to tag along.
She is involved in many Clubs at school. SADD, Key, FCCLA and a member of the National Honor Society. You could say she is quite involved in her school. I hear she is quite the volleyball and basketball player as well.
To start off Delanie's senior session we got her hair and make-up done at Studio 10 with my friend Jenna McDorman. I team up quite often with Jenna for my senior sessions. She does a fabulous job.
We walked around Downtown Kokomo for most of Delanie's shoot. So many unique buildings and features that adds so much character and fun to a session. After walking around downtown we headed over to Highland Park. This park is absolutely beautiful and has an awesome covered bridge.
In 2016, Delanie had back surgery to correct her scoliosis. That is something her and I can relate to because when I was 16 I also had the same surgery. Now we both have a pretty rad scar lining are spines. "Life doesn't allow us to be weak!"
Delanie, you are such a humble, kind young lady. Thanks for letting me be apart of your senior year experience.
